Intriguing combination between a trendy modernistic lines and the rich charm of antique and retro elements. This renovation project by INT2 architecture brought an entwinement between the classic charm and the luxurious modern trends of classy urban life for this central St. Petersburg apartment.
The design team used the luxurious, expressive beauty of massive copper décor details and the charm of some classic and retro furniture pieces. In the beautiful open space flow of the kitchen-dining-living room combo, the purity of clean and sharp modern lines is vitalized by the sneak-peek of the retro wardrobe winking behind the very trendy clear glass – thin metal frame – separation for the master bedroom – a cute and original touch of the modern luxurious overall feel of the apartment’s design.
Large floor to ceiling windows bring spaciousness and abundance of light that reflects on the gorgeous honey sparkle of the copper design accents. The alternation of minimalist urban shapes like the custom made metal bookshelf or the elegant blackness of the dining table and bench set is jazzed up by luxurious twists like the copper ornaments of the kitchen space, the marble backdrop wall, or the retro winks of the reading chairs and coffee table.
The popular modern trick of expending space and preserving light and luminosity – the glass wall separation for the bedroom exposes the charming French wardrobe, which sits next to a clean-lined modern bed silhouette. We absolutely love the strong accent of a gorgeous cooper tub peeking up behind another trendy glass separation been the bathroom and bedroom. A walk-in closet with trendy terrazzo flooring finishes up the luxurious, modern urban vibe of the space.
On the opposite end of the large open flow of the main space, another bedroom with matching beautiful antique furniture piece completes the balanced alternation of minimalist modern with curvy, rich historical vibe of this apartment’s décor.
