A beautiful, sunny community space in South Korea offers an inviting ambiance (with a warm courtyard) that is in possession of an intriguing design contrast between the warm, earthly feel of the extensive terracotta cladding and the modern, hard edge of the metal structures. The Steel Moment Coffee Shop and Bakery design is created by the Assemble Project as an expression of Nature’s inspiration in entwinement with a special modernistic feel. Playful solutions for the natural elevation of levels within the space layout give the coffee ambiance a dynamic and whimsical vibe.
The intriguing modern design chooses – like the undulated black metal sheets, the amazing lamps, and the lighting scheme, the contrast between the red ceramic tiles and their white fugues give a dynamic, unique, and stylish character to this new space ambiance. The trend of creating extensive and expressive tile cladding with contrasting fugues is something that many contemporary designers (bout in social and private design projects) use with zests because it gives a beautiful depth, contrasting expression, and textural richness to the décor project. In this case, the beauty of the earthly terracotta (in trendy metro style rectangular shape) gives an existing contrast between its organic earthly presence and the modernistic metal elements and dynamic shapes of the design composition.
