Intriguing modern apartment in Kiev, Ukraine with industrial edge and absolute minimalist beauty in white. They were created for functionality, comfort, and dynamic working space. The designers from ACIID used a restrained décor arrangement with a “no-nonsense” approach and called, fittingly, their project – Tamed.
White and black, wood and metal gray compose the restrained color and materials palette. Straight lines, defined edges, hidden closets, and lack of door handles extend the visual purity. Modernistic lines of furniture, custom made light fittings, and cabinets give the time edge of the space, where the extensive wooden cladding and panels balance the raw presence of metal.
Adjoined kitchen and dining combo with an area that is more like a working space than a living room – create a luminous minimal sequence of absolute functionality and a symphony for modern minimalism. Here the contemporary shape of the striking black chair creates a juxtaposition with the white elements.
The large working table can be removed if not needed, which further celebrates the minimalist philosophy of the décor. In the bedroom – warmer nuances with massive wooden panels and wider textural variety – still offer the minimalist celebration of modern shapes by the presence of the bespoke nightstands – created by undulated metal sheets by the décor studio designers.
