Modern urban chic, with beautiful entwinement of wood, pastel colors, round corners, and overall feel of purity and elegance – this is the new apartment project by the Ukrainian designer Nadya Chabannaya in central Kyiv, Ukraine. The apartment’s spacious premises are dynamically clad in intriguing tile compositions, alternation of specific for each space color combinations, and modern furniture elements that fit perfectly the lines and shapes of the original architectural space. The overall feel is of ease, inviting softness, and contemporary dynamics.
The open space floor plan of the social areas hosts a kitchen, a dining zone, and a soft living room area. A different pastel color composition dominates the ambiance in each space, and a fresh green plant gives a focal center to the modern composition. In the kitchen corner, a bespoke pastel green cabinetry, functional kitchen island with cute pink stools, and a free-standing cabinetry module that separates the space from the hallway, create a dynamic functionality in fresh modern language.
The ding zone follows the architectural shell’s natural curve in an elegant and artistic manner round table and bespoke furniture constructs complement the classic beauty of the wall rims. A bespoke lighting scheme cleverly accentuates this classic base and romantic charm of the apartment’s design. Actually, throughout the project composition, modern and cleverly selected lamps, contemporary art pieces, and unique furniture designs create a dynamic and rich expression of the idea modern chic with fashionable luxury.
The bedrooms also have an elegant, luxurious, and modern bonbon-feel achieved by unique color compositions and contemporary design furniture arrangements. We absolutely love the bathroom premises – each designed with its own unique smoothen. Beautiful terrazzo and marble cladding, or artistic tile compositions – fashionable mini squares, trendy metro tiles, colorful patterns, or 3D contrasts- are complemented by playful shapes and color accents.
Very stylish and in tune with the latest design tendencies in bathroom arrangements. The play with color selections gives further individuality for each space- soothing blue for the workspace, calming dove-gray and warm ochre for the master bedroom, vital bonbon pastels for the kid’s room. Unique and carefully selected decorative elements create a space of style, charm, and light purity- very in tune with modern urban lifestyle dynamics.
