A Brazilian mid-century classic decor inspiration with strong artistic presence and vibrant colors: a beautiful entwinement of modern minimalist shapes and maximum aesthetic impact – that is the new design project of an urban apartment. Stripping the apartment to its bones during the renovation, the architects from StudioLIM created a minimalist and honest base for the artistic and unique design pieces and art elements.
Some typical for the Brazilian design elements are presented here as well – extensive wooden paneling of walls and furniture segments. Large furniture pieces – as the dining table, which offers a comfortable space for family and friends gatherings, are also a local trend with significant influence over modern Brazilian designers.
Luxurious materials choices, like marble and polished concrete floors, entwine with the honest presence of the structural beams striped to their naked beauty. Iconic design chairs and modern art pieces sit next to typical mid-century modern furniture elements and color-patterns.
The kitchen zone offers an entwinement of warm redwood cladding and modernistic black kitchen appliances and islands; modern urban meets classic warmth. Colorful and dynamic, versatile, and full of intriguing small interior details, this apartment’s design is the vibrant Brazilian interior decor project that we all love to explore. And as the designers themselves like to point “No defined style, no fads, no label”- all is just colorful and full of vibrancy space to unfold your life. Photos: André Mortatti;
