Looking for something calm, serine, inspired by ancient traditions and modern and flexible at the same time? Well, this stylish project by SOAR Design Studio gives us a wonderful example how the entwinement of concrete surfaces, extensive wooden cladding, and trendy metal frame structures can compose a clean, calm and aesthetically delicate environment.
The loft’s design configuration carries distinctive hints of Asian stylistic and simplicity plus modern organic inspiration all wrapped in an easygoing shell. Although urban home the project represent some of the core values of Asian simplicity – exquisite natural materials palette, a strong presence of strategically placed living plants, overall minimalism, and serenity of color, shapes and textural compositions. A truly welcoming and calm home environment.
The main living premise connects in alternating sequence the blond – wood panels, cladding, and structures with concrete surfaces – polished for the floors and row for walls including the impressive fireplace composition. Sliding doors and layering of space – benches and steps all clad in beautiful wood- throughout the apartment are a strong reference to the Asian traditions of tam-tam floors and sliding bamboo doors.
Vast floor-to-ceiling windows connect the free float of the social area to the beautiful and elegant terrace setting. Simple rectangular shapes – including the big plant pots and some very modern wooden cubes serving as a variety of furniture elements additionally give a simplistic and elegant touch to the decor composition.
