This modern Brazilian home designed by Padovani Arquitetos offers impressive facade composed by extensive horizontal lines and intriguing combination between modern minimalism and rich organic materials palette. Stone and wood, concrete and metal, glass and white plaster entwine to compose the multiple premises of this large countryside mansion. Following the brief of the clients, the architect made sure that the connection of the house with its natural surroundings is strong and fluid throughout multiple unobstructed inside-outside crossings, large windows, inner-courtyards, and open terraces.
Each room and premise of this big mansion has its own style and design identity. There is the one that hosts the wine cellar in a country style ambiance – cozy refuge clad in stone and with big leather furniture pieces, additionally charmed by the beautiful, rustic wood, a low table giving a warm tribal accent to the composition. There are other social premises with more modern and sophisticated interior compositions combining light colors, pure shapes, and modern furniture elements. In the bedroom ethno textile elements add warmth and colorful inviting vibe. Actually, throughout the house decor, ethnic textiles (from rugs to cushions’ upholsteries) and local art-inspired decoration elements give warmth and locational identity to the contemporary minimalism of the architectural shell.
The kitchen and dining zones offer simple and functional stylistic made elegant by modern furniture pieces, light colors, and clear lined shapes – a perfect place for calm and enjoyable gathering with friends and family. Multiple outdoor areas with beautiful landscaping offer a combination of modern and functional furniture pieces with an accent on the surrounding natural elements replicated in some of the materials palette composing the house’s terraces and social areas.
