Strong pastel colors giving a character to each premise, contemporary furnishing, sleek lines and marble, brass and copper structures for a luxurious hint – this is the modern project of interior design studio Factory and designer Agnės Stanikūnaitės.
The challenge of the long narrow space to be turned into spacious open plan kitchen-dining-living room – combo was undertaken by designers and concurred with a dash. The vast floor-to-ceiling windows with the beautiful urban- panoramic view create openness and abundance of natural light for the arrangement. Clear-lines and dynamics of colors – sweet blue for the walls and green for the trendy sofa together with the amazing honey shine of the hot brass elements give the space its consistency and unique character.
The materials palette of the apartment composition is rich and expressive: the exposed concrete ceilings are juxtaposed to the smooth plywood flooring, the marble additions, and the shining brass elements. Soft velvet – like upholsteries not only in the living room sofa but also at the hot pink bed headboards in the bedroom, are complemented by the custom-made brass book shelving, introducing modern urban glamour to the design composition. The fragile glass globes of the trendy lamps design introduce airy touch in the decor of the different premises. Photo: Leonas Garbačiauskas
