Bonaldo has launched two new double beds at the 2018 Salone del Mobile: Kenobi and Youniverse. The result of the consolidated partnership between Bonaldo and Mauro Lipparini, these products fit in perfectly with Bonaldo’s bed collection, presenting elegant headboards characterized by soft padding and tailoring details that really make them stand out.
These two new products confirm Bonaldo’s design strategy which, among other things, aims at extending the range of upholstered furniture, a market segment in which the company has always invested many resources. Below you can find a description of the two new products for 2018:
Kenobi stands out for its elegant headboard whose outer edges gently curve backward to leave space for the bedside table. This fabric-covered headboard is characterized by tailored top-stitching, giving the large surface a rhythmic, vertical chiaroscuro.
Youniverse is a soft bed in all respects: soft to the touch, thanks to its thick padding all over, and soft on the eye, thanks to the total lack of corners or any element that may otherwise create an angular effect. The ideal bed to create that “cocoon” effect in the bedroom. The Youniverse design is characterized by vertical stitching on both the base and the headboard, highlighting the art of upholstery that is typical of so many beds in the Bonaldo collection.
