Gray terrazzo as flooring and incredible custom-made furniture structures paired up with sophisticated gold-brass elements the Joy Box Restaurant – an elegant and stylish project by Pure Design.
Located in a trendy shopping mall in China this restaurant premise is initially blessed with vast glass facade face that the designers additionally enhanced as a strong attention caller by creating a beautiful oval bar clad in shining brass. Specific design angles and rotation of flow, impressive structures (not only the elegant modern lines of the sitting arrangement but also some other details; like the suspended structure composed by white, illuminated squares, above the food preparation zone – slightly reminiscing the old cinema electronic posters) and elegant layering of the restaurants decor create a characteristic design layout.
The color palette is kept light and neutral, based mainly on the materials textures – the soft gray of the extensive terrazzo cladding and structures (really intriguing tables and benches design), gold from the trendy brass details adorning the composition and black as a frame and elegant lines.
Installation of oval mirrors replicating the oblong shapes of the rest of the furniture’s style creates a light play reflecting the trendy lamps shine and the neon hints from the lighting scheme. Smooth contemporary forms, an industrial hint from the exposed ceiling construction and wiring, and the simple modern shape of the white chairs complete the decor composition of this elegant in its simplicity modern restaurant.
