The refined TARGA sofas and the elegant MORRIS chairs are the protagonists of the interior project of the new stylish venue Harlan+Holden Glasshouse Café in Makati City, Philippines. A modern greenhouse enhanced by lush vegetation, where every detail meticulously contributes to the overall aesthetics of the Café, conceived to be in perfect harmony with the identity of the namesake local clothing brand, renowned for its minimalist creations characterized by a flawless quality.
The space project has been curated by the Italian-Danish duo GamFratesi, who have also designed the TARGA sofas and the MORRIS chairs, collections that have been chosen to decorate the interiors, contributing to lend to the Cafè an overall plain and relaxed ambiance.
TARGA upholstery pieces represent ideal elements for contract spaces designed for an intimate and secluded atmosphere, yet maintaining an original and non-conventional personality. The collection which, besides the sofas, includes a lounge chair, a pouf and the new modular sofa introduced in 2018, is characterized by all the elements of the brand’s tradition, and it is named after the ellipsoidal element, inserted in the woven cane edge of the upholstered backrest. The wide seat cushion, supported by a solid and elegant bent beech structure, makes the sofas comfortable and perfect to enjoy a moment of relaxation.
MORRIS chairs, while reinterpreting the classic Viennese seat with new proportions, perfectly fit as innovative furnishing solutions both in home environments and contract spaces. The structure is made up of steam-bent solid beech elements and includes an upholstered chair with a woven cane backrest, details which are representative of the style and the tradition of the brand. A perfect background for the iconic elegance of the furniture pieces by Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, which once again proves itself to be the ideal partner for contract projects with a unique personality.
