This three-floor house located near the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia was reimagined and stylishly designed by Voood design studio. Dealing with narrow and thigh original architecture, the designers use imaginative approach, entwined gorgeous wood structures with a trendy black and white surfaces and add unique design solutions – like the 3D printed Dragon lamp, shining copper elements and custom made furniture, to accomplish stylish urban home.
The first floor hosts the social areas – narrow and long kitchen, living room with access to the garden, small working corner (which whiteness and elegance we enjoy very much) and a dining zone. Here the designers used beautiful wooden cladding and custom made built-in furniture that runs through the entire space – from the functional simplicity of the kitchen to its artistic finish with the book-shelf library in the living zone.
The combination of materials, textures, and colors is dynamic and aimed for well – balanced and cozy environment. The warmth of the hardwood entwines with the fresh white details and the luminous natural lighting to create a well-balanced scene for the large, dark and trendy soft furniture arrangement and the jazzy presence of the copper accents. On the third floor – where the master bedroom with its huge terrace resigns, the designers had used again the warmth of the wooden cladding, this time in combination with velvet textures and dark hues.
Even in the bathroom, there is a material continuity with the ceramic tiles that reminiscent the wooden cladding of the rest of the décor. Throughout the home, modern design furniture pieces (decided in trendy colors, materials, and shapes) are combined with a stylish arrangement and lighting solutions.
