The clear lined aesthetics, the abstract shapes and contemporary presence of this Sidney home is a result of professional collaboration between the hot Australian design and architectural studio Luigi Rosselli and a team of architects, designers, and landscape artist.
Nested beneath the thick canopy of the beautiful and exotic fig trees the new Twin Peaks house’s facade alternates the dark aluminum clad shutters and the smooth white walls, all laid on top of a beautiful stone base. The curved profile of the dual gables combined with the straight lines of the aluminum shutters and the romantic spirit of the old stone and brick base creates a characteristic and memorable silhouette for this modern home project. The back side of the house hides the rich treasure of the beautiful gardens and trees, the crystal waters of the swimming pool and the homey and inviting curves of the family spaces of the house.
The interior design composition of the home combines contemporary aesthetics, vintage hints and comfortable and trendy solutions. In the living room overlooking the peaceful paradise gardens – the two characteristics armchairs by Gastone Rinaldi, the corner sofa designed by Jean-Marie Massaud (Poltrona Frau) coexist with the aerial, colorful beauty of the floor-lamp by Johan Lindstén, and the Cloud wall units by Bouroullec.
Those trendy design pieces and the elegant aesthetic of the Moooi – Zio dining table under the pendant lights by Jaime Hayon for Ceccotti Collezioni compose the contemporary ambiance of the main living premises on the ground floor.
The kitchen unit presents us with dynamic modern composition and beautiful, functional solutions. Brass and bronze woven mesh screen, skillfully produced by Di Emme Creative Solutions adorns the kitchen wall, another woven brass and bronze screen separates the second floor from the entrance.
The house is full of thoughtful details and trendy design pieces that give unique ambiance and exquisite charm to the home: the artistic bookcase, the elegant joinery desk in the home office, accessorized with the comfortable Ginger chair – are all details and additions that create unique character. In the bedroom gorgeous textures and characteristic colors in combination with the comforting embrace of the Roberto Lazzeroni designed Mamy armchair stimulate the cozy dreams of the inhabitants.
