Alessandro Zambelli‘s talent and design sensitivity meet the aesthetic universe of the brand founded by Adele Cassina: the designer, therefore, unveils his new collection of furniture designed for the Italian company Adele-C, composed of a dining table, coffee table, seat, and armchair.
The collection is the expression of a design which oscillates and at the same time melds continuity and innovation: an iconic family of furniture expressed via an original lexicon made up of innovative symbols united by a spectacular and visionary plasticity.
First of all, we would bring to your attention the dining table Araes, a piece of furniture with a heterogeneous essence and sculptural expressiveness, inspired by the concepts of the futurism movement.
The geometric fragmentation of the Black Walnut top communicates the desire to invest the object with dynamism. Like a macro-inlay, a weft is created, then broken down into neat panes. Its singularity lies in the repetitions in the same direction as the wood veins. The weighty thickness of the top is then lightened by beveling at the far ends. An interplay of contrasts conveys the concept of weightlessness inherent to Futurist thought – metal, the definition of hard, is folded like a submissive piece of paper in the three sheets that form the support structure.
