Product designer and artist Elena Salmistraro lives and works in Milan. She has worked as a product designer and illustrator for various companies in the creative industry, such as Texturae – new designer wallpaper brand, for which she designs wallpaper. And design line “MRND” lamps for Seletti. Her style is poetic and functional at the same time, creating shape based on lightness, and fluidity.
Born as a game, Ensemble is a lamp and vase which expresses the love for daily use objects and the desire to restore their poetics through interlocks and overlaps. The elegant “combination” between the various, exquisitely blown glass-crafted elements, gives the object a poetic consisting of visual and physical balances, obtained also by skillfully combined textures, weights and colors.
