The house, an architectural creation of local studio D|Style, is wood clad a two-storey detached volume that is surrounded by wooden decking and exhibits a noteworthy simplicity of lines and shapes. This stylish simplicity transfuse into the interior design solutions – the furnishing is functional and modern, the material palette natural and in high quality and even the color scheme is restricted and minimalistic.
At the living room quarters the comfortable and cozy looking furnishing is decided mainly in gray – beige tonality but because the space has and open plan layout and it is connected to the dining and kitchen area the intense red of the furniture pieces there brings cheeky vitality to the whole zone. This color approach – monochromatic gray-beige base that is spiced up by a single bright color may be found throughout the house (mainly in bedrooms and bathrooms). According to the designers, the furnishing is mainly Italian (visible by the modern functionality and stylish simplicity of the pieces) but some of the more unusual fixtures and details are locally made.
