The long wooden beams that clad the ceiling and the facade of this Sao Paulo located mansion bring unique appearance and character to the property. In addition to the cozy intimate sensation that this slatted wooden lining brings into the home, the untypical and, we may say quite curious, spatial arrangement of the premises – first and second floor, box-like separation of dining and bedrooms area – is also attention catching. This characteristic configuration of the architectural design created by Studio mk27 is successfully supplemented and extended by the contemporary and stylish interior design and furnishing provided by designer Diana Radomysler.
The light color scheme of the furnishing (mainly in the with-beige tonality) corresponds exceptionally well with the materials choices – wood for above and stone for the floors – and this classic combination brings elegant and inviting atmosphere to any home. So the final result is contemporary and fresh. Smooth surfaces, spacious and unique room arrangement, impression of free float between in and out ( achieved by elegant continuity of materials – stone floors and garden pavement, wooden cladding of patio and swimming pool area, and floor-to-ceiling glass partitions). On and all – another classy example of Brazilian architecture and design (we are getting seriously tempted to relocate). Photographs: Fernando Guerra | FG+SG
