With a lake at one side and Botanic Garden at the other, this Brazilian penthouse project had no other choice then enjoying the spectacular views through large terraces, vast open spaces and floor-to-ceiling windows. Isn’t that so? That’s one of the things that makes Brazilian interior design and architecture so attractive – magnificent natural dispositions and views.
The project of Ivan Rezende Arquitectura Studio is undoubtedly very elegant, modern and luxurious. The vast white volumes, which contrast beautifully with the crispy green and blue of the surrounding landscape, are clad in high-quality materials – honed marble, mahogany boards for the floors, turquoise mosaic of Italian Bisazza for the swimming pool and Turkish travertine in the living room. These luxury materials laid in modern straight, clear lines and combined with designer’s furniture, secure both; the functionality and the artistry of the premises.
The classic elegance of the color choices – white and gray warmed up by abundance of wooden elements and occasional pastel red and green – is supplemented by the light transparency of glass partitions, art details and lighting solutions. The elegant simplicity of the lines straightened by the white serenity of the interior decor becomes excellent screen for the natural landscape and a comfortable dwelling created from high luxury materials.
