Bronda Restaurant Decor Inspired by Scandinavian Sea Coast

0

This Helsinki located contemporary restaurant is inspired by Scandinavian sea coast theme and is the fifth restaurant that Futudesign architects had completed for the successful restaurateur duo Tomi Björck and Matti Wikberg. Urban and austere atmosphere is the first impression of the space, with its striped walls and ceilings, but then the sea sensation overcomes the senses. With the beautiful handmade “fisherman” pendant lamps by Zero or the floor hexagonal tiles arrangement that is inspired by the Helsinki Sea chart, the space gets unique character and relaxing ambiance.

Using warm and natural materials in dynamic configurations – wood and brass, leather and marble, glass and porcelain – the designers create an exclusive “custom made” space – starting with the giant bespoke wine cabinet at the entrance of the dining hall and continuing throughout the spatial design and with most of the furniture the architects use design items to comfort the space. With its large windows, high ceilings and open white premises the restaurant gets not only its urban dynamic but also connects ingeniously with its street surroundings. An interesting and modern Scandinavian “dining and wining” space – indeed.
