Pure elegance with contemporary and dynamic presence – this house in Mikolow, Poland captures immediately with the stylish simplicity of its interior. Beautiful and elegant house composed with very restrained color palate – intertwining white, black and the natural warmth of walnut veneer the designers from Widawscy Studio Architektury create a true piece of contemporary minimalistic design, that yet, has the soul of warm comfort and luxury home.
In the open plan living – dining- kitchen area the designers cleverly used black framing for the pure whiteness of the décor – black veneer media center on one wall, black cushion accent on the white sofa and at the opposite wall a dark painting by contemporary Polish artist. This arrangement shapes the space where the designer’s furniture, lamps and the rich density of walnut cladding stand out and create unique home ambiance. The bathroom on this floor is also astonishing in its simplicity – it’s like entering a negative of a photo – black and white alternate and creates intriguing space, where the mirror plate shaped as a brick wall, reflects the designer’s lamps and appliances. The same restrained and clear elegance continues on the second floor and the premises of master bedroom and bathroom, but with sensitive domination of warm beige wood and soft white. The only energetically colored premise in the house is the gym room, but none the less the elegant reticence of the design is present throughout the house, giving it its one unforgettable character and charm.
