Thanks to clever architectural solutions by LGZ Taller de arquitectura and geometrical approach towards the arrangement of the space, this Mexican house appears much larger than it is in reality. Floating sequence from space to space, opening the premise with skylights, vast windows, generous heights, wooden ceiling beams, open sight lines and even the narrow rectangular swimming pool, contributes to the visual extension of the premise.
The interior of the house is decided in neutral color palette – black and white, beige and gray – and abundance of warm wood, which adorns the rooms not only with floor and ceiling cladding, but also in terms of furnishing and decoration. Thanks to the warm color ambiance the artistic elements and decorations standout, and class up the space – particularly interesting are the lamp solutions, flower pots with hanging orchid flowers or woven bolls of wooden ribbons – they vitalize the space and attract attention.
As it is throughout the whole house, the courtyard is also decided with stylish wood cladding and furniture. Plants with local origin, stone pavement and vertical green wall, adorn the garden that provides the private view for the house. This stylish and clear decor achieves its comfort and coziness by clever architecture, attention towards the small artistic details and usage of high-quality materials.
