Filled with light and vitality this contemporary house with dynamic shapes and modern elements is a result of collaboration between AGUSHI Builders and Workroom Design. Located in Melbourne suburbs the house construction and design utilize a natural and organic material pallet while having a slightly industrial feel but with a stylish lux enhancement.
Oak everywhere – furniture, floor and ceiling cladding, even the bathtub walls – that brings elegance and warmth at any interior. The fresh greenery of the gardens and patios, complete the natural circle of the premise. Marble plots and concrete structural columns diversify the material palette used in this modern design and clever architectural solutions.
The black and white color base, of the contemporary furnishing, escapes the controversial style thanks to the greyish and brown – wood hints, the unusual shapes and textures and the low position of some of the central furniture pieces. This clean style and the warming use of wood and natural textures give to the house its stylish and bright atmosphere.
The house it’s relatively small- only 370m2- but still succeeds to host two living zones, study, kitchen, four bedrooms with three bathrooms and a separate upstairs living zone. Thanks to its unusual two- leveled structure, the vast windows and openings, the abundance of natural light and the stylish furnishing the house gives the impression of big, open and modern space.
