Modern Nordic Restaurant Decor

The location is as fascinating as historical. In the center of Copenhagen within the historic customs house in Art Deco style. The structure, long and narrow, overlooking the sea with a series of large windows. Here Claus Meyer and Niels Lan Doky decided to give life to a new jazz club: The Standard. Opened last October 3, 2013, will include two bars and three restaurants.

First contemporary Indian cuisine restaurant in the country, was furnished by the team of Danish designer Italo GamFratesi. A neutral enclosure, with vertical walls, curtains on the windows, raised platforms, available in multiple variations of gray. The monochromatic spaces also infects the furniture. The Beetle chair and sofa Haiku signed GamFratesi are in gray fabric. Also, the lights on the walls and lamps support, part of the collection Grossman are all in black. The only exception is a vegetation and wood. Many simple plants shrub or trees scattered in the room. Many vertical wooden inserts. The contrast, pleasant and delicate, heat the room and makes it home.
