The colours, the bass-relief and the textures of the woollen threads evoke the idea of the cultivated farm land; land which brings forth new life, stimulating emotions and memories. Tre-D is more than a simple carpet, it represents a celebration of creativity and the harmony of nature, which if respected, allows us to regulate our lives through following its biological rhythms. The shape represents the sense of order and geometry – a seed sown into a field of coloured threads. The fulcrum of all things and people that inhabit the world. Tre-D is the first in a collection of rugs and carpets which was presented during Milan Design Week 2010.
